Calendar months keep the same day when possible; otherwise, the last day of the target month.
Exact units use 24-hour days. Calendar dates can span 23- or 25-hour days when clocks change.
When does this duration end?

How to convert 1000 seconds
1,000 seconds = 16.66666667 minutes.
1000 seconds × 1 seconds per second = 1,000 seconds.
Fixed conversions use 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. Fractional values are supported; a negative duration represents time in the opposite direction.
Duration and calendar date are different tasks
Adding 72 elapsed hours advances exactly 259,200 seconds. Moving forward three calendar days preserves the calendar day progression. Around a daylight-saving change, those two operations can end at different local clock times.
