How to convert 60 minutes
60 minutes = 1 hours.
60 minutes × 60 seconds per minute = 3,600 seconds.
Fixed conversions use 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week. Fractional values are supported; a negative duration represents time in the opposite direction.
Duration and calendar date are different tasks
Adding 72 elapsed hours advances exactly 259,200 seconds. Moving forward three calendar days preserves the calendar day progression. Around a daylight-saving change, those two operations can end at different local clock times.
