How this countdown works
The tool finds the next 12:00 PM in your selected time zone and subtracts the current timestamp. The result updates every second, without reloading the page.
The 24-hour clock equivalent is 12:00. AM is before noon, while PM is from noon to midnight.
What if today’s time has passed?
“Next occurrence” rolls to the next eligible date. “Today only” states that the time has passed, rather than displaying a negative countdown or pretending tomorrow is today.
Good to know
Does this use my local time?
Yes. It starts with your device’s time zone. You can choose another zone above. The result is only as accurate as your device clock.
Can I leave the countdown running in another tab?
Yes. The displayed value is recalculated from the current clock, so browser timer throttling does not accumulate a timing error. Keep your device awake for alerts.
What does a shared countdown link mean?
“Share settings” includes the selected clock time, day rule and time zone in the URL fragment. The recipient counts to the next occurrence in that specified zone, not a silently changed local time.
